At this time I wish to extend my gratitude to Bob Purdy, of LOBO VENDING. Bob has spent hours of his valuable time assisting my new found
business.
I had searched for years to find a sound and viable occupation. As most of
you will certainly discover, this is not the proper attitude. With the exception of winning
the lottery, there is no such thing as a “get rich quick scheme”. So, my wife Priscilla and
I decided to follow Bob Purdy’s home study course, The “How To’s of Vending”.
I am happy to announce, that in the completion of his course, I purchased
as well as placed four of his vending machines. I am finding great pride and joy as being
known as the “Snack-Man”. His serviceable information as well as professionalism has put
me on the right road to success in the vending field. I also know that I can only climb
higher in my new chosen profession. All due to the valuable information supplied to me
by Mr. Purdy.
I stand convicted to have anyone that wishes to seek further information
from myself or Mr. Purdy to do so at once. No where will you find a more
understanding, and beneficial man. He will escort you step by step into the rewarding
occupation of vending.
Robert Garland Depend-A-Vend I just wanted to thank you for the cordial and professional manner in which you dealt with me regarding all aspects of my purchase of small location vending equipment You were most helpful and I am delighted with the equipment. I am particularly grateful for the recommendation that I utilize Ed Klein to assist in locating the equipment and to assist in relocating the bulk of the vending machines I already had on location. Of course, I knew of Mr.. Klein from the excellent vending course which I purchased from your firm. However, Ed exceeded all my expectations. As you know, I had utilized a location service for my initial machines. The locations were not and will never be capable of producing the return I want and am now beginning to receive. Not only did Ed set appointments for me, but he communicated with me on virtually a daily basis. He did everything he said he would do and more. However, the most important benefit I received from Ed was the wealth of information he passed along about the small location vending business as “asides” in our telephone conversations. I collected from him a wealth of information that could only be learned from costly mistakes had I not received it. I hope you will continue to recommend his services to new and fledgling vending operators. His services are worth far far more than the very reasonable fee which he charges. I will be happy to discuss my experience with him with anyone. Thank you again. As you know, I have just placed my second order for equipment and am contracting with Ed for ongoing consulting services. Norman A. Crews Presdent Crews Vending Services, Inc. I recently saw an add in Automatic Merchandiser, the one with Bob and Eddy Klein. It brought back pleasant memories. Almost four years ago I knew very little about vending. You may remember I almost bought a promoters grossly overpriced machines. Had it not been for Wood Brothers Vending in Norfolk, Va. I would have. They told me to call Bob Purdy at LOBO VENDING, he can save you a bundle. They were right. The LoBo machines were about 40% the price of the promoters machines. An even bigger plus was the training program you offered. Without it Ranco Marketing Inc. might not be around today. The catch phrase from Ed’s bubble in the add about training and back up support is very true. The machines are almost “bullet proof”. Except for the nut with the pick axe who beat the daylights out of two machines. They still worked but sustained a lot of damage, with your help and parts both were returned to service quickly and are making money today. As for support; If you gave me any more support I would not need suspenders. A quick phone call and you either solve my problem, ship me the parts or put me on to someone who will. The financing on 28 of my machines was quick, easy and pleasant. I count you as my mentors, my technical advisors, my source of machines and most of all my friends. Thank you for everything, it is refreshing to have friends like Bob Purdy, Rob Purdy and Ed Klein. W.T. Beachum CEO Ranco Marketing By way of introduction I am a fifty-eight year old food service executive with twenty- five years experience as a franchisee of Burger King, Roy Rogers, Perkins and Bonanza restaurants. Earlier this year, we sold all of our restaurants except three Bonanzas. With a substantial portion of my weekly working hours now “open,” I’ve been looking into possible new businesses in which I could get involved, with a minimal employee staff, where I could utilize my past experience in food service. After several months of looking into various possibilities, I was about to go with a marketing-assisted program offered via a California-based company’s compact vending presentations that I attended at a nearby hotel. However, in the process of doing my “due diligence,” I became acquainted with Bob Purdy. After several lengthy conversations with Bob Purdy, and checking out his reputation with a highly respected vending industry veteran, I decided to try his video training program. In every respect (Bob Purdy’s reputation, equipment pricing, his informative advise, the video training program), I would rate LOBO VENDING “A-Okay-Plus.” There are “sharks” out there preying on people interested in getting into small- location vending. I was almost a victim in spite of my years of experience in business. I know that I am now in “good company” with someone like Bob Purdy who is legitimate, reputable, experienced, knowledgeable, etc. I will be placing my initial equipment order with LOBO VENDING in about ten days, arid look forward to a long-term association with Bob Purdy. I highly recommend LOBO VENDING & Marketing to newcomers to small location vending like myself. I am presently utilizing his video training program as preparation for my new endeavor, and I would rate it “Excellent.” It’s really invaluable! Mort Hirsh SnackBev Vending Service, Inc. I thought it might be helpful to relate my brief history in SLV. I started operating in mid-April of this year with an initial equipment order of thirteen units (eight snack & five full-size cold beverage). My previous occupational background is: co-owner & co-franchisee of three Roy Rogers Restaurants (as part of Marriott’s franchise system); co-owner & co-franchisee of six Burger King Restaurants (as a subsidiary division of Pillsbury); co-owner & co-franchisee of three Bonanza Family Restaurants (as part of the Metromedia franchise system); co-owner & co-franchisee of two Perkins Family Restaurants. My business, now employing two full-time people beside myself, will have seventy-five vending machines (all from LoBo) in service by the end of October. Our objective for year-end is one hundred vending machines in service; and I am projecting one hundred and fifty additional vending machines in service by the end of 1999. From personal experience, I can honestly say that I have found the LoBo Training Program to be an invaluable starting point for anyone interested in getting into the SLV industry. Furthermore, I have gotten more on-going support (coaching, service referrals, supplementary service items, etc.) than from major companies I was formerly involved with as a franchisee (paying a 3.5% monthly franchise royalty on gross sales). All of this from LoBo with NO MONTHLY ROYALTY that you have to pay LoBo, and no long- term contractual obligations! I believe that the opportunities in this SLV industry are truly incredible! The smartest thing someone coming into this industry could do for themselves is to become part of the LoBo “Owner/Operator Network.” Bob and Rob Purdy are both industry veterans with considerable knowledge of all the multi-facets of this type of business. I personally learned that there are “sharks in the water” feeding on newcomers to SLV. Stick with people of integrity like Bob and Rob. You"ll be very glad (as I am) that you did! I would be glad to speak with anyone considering SLV, and involvement with LOBO VENDING. Mort Hirsh SnackBev Vending Service, Inc. |
